Della Rhodes

Della came late to singing, but was born playing the piano. Initial training in contemporary dance led to directing theatre and on to music.
She has been responsible for the jazz department at City Lit since its inception in 1991. Teaching music is in her bones now. Composing/ arranging and performing music is as important to her as pizza. Breathing Space were formed after Skylarking sang their last gig in 1999. Della also leads the 22 voice City Lit A Cappella.
